Jake E. Lee’s Alleged Shooters Caught and to be Sentenced Next Month
One step closer to justice...? The post Jake E. Lee’s Alleged Shooters Caught and to be Sentenced Next Month appeared first on MetalSucks.

Well, it looks like Jake E. Lee, Ozzy Osbourne’s former guitarist, might be getting the justice he deserves after a shitty incident that happened to him in October last year. While leaving his house to walk his dog, two individuals allegedly approached and shot Lee near is Las Vegas home. Now, Lee’s given the update that both persons have been caught and are set to be sentenced in July.
He gave this positive update while also confirming that he’ll be taking part in the “Back to the Beginning” concert in Birmingham, UK, which will be both Black Sabbath and Ozzy’s final live performance. The post, which he shared on Facebook on June 27, featured a picture of Lee’s dog Coco (who was with him during the shooting) and the following good message:
“Just confirming I’m playing in Birmingham on the 5th of July. In fact I believe I’ll be first at bat, which means [my dog] Coco has to be up at 7:00am [in Las Vegas] to watch Pops [as part of the pay-per-view livestream]!
“I’m thrilled to be sharing the stage with top tier musicians,” Jake continued. “I won’t name cause you never know until the curtain rises, but will confirm once we have our rehearsal next week.
“Oh, btw, the two that shot me have been caught and face sentencing next month,” Lee added. “The gun was tied to two previous murders so my case is almost an afterthought. They’re going bye bye for a long time. On that happy thought, see ya on TV!”
The 68-year-old was shot in the arm, back, and foot, with a bullet also breaking one of his ribs. One of his neighbors heard the shots and called 911 for him, with police later finding 15 shell casings around the scene.
We’re glad Lee is on the up and up, and that he’ll still be on stage for one of the most epic concerts to happen in the last decade.
