Not holding back.

I think we’re all tired of hearing about the messy breakup between Zach Bryan and Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry (whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia), which seemed to have died down in the media until this past week, when Zach left a petty comment on a TikTok that triggered Brianna to want to retaliate and release some unflattering footage of her ex.

There was an incident at Brianna’s birthday celebration a couple years ago, which she vaguely referenced on her tell-all on her BFFs podcast, that many are speculating had to do with her former best friend and PlanBri Uncut podcast host, Grace O’Malley:

“We all like, sit around the fire and it’s pretty chill… It’s all of my family and my friends. And we’re sitting around the fire and he starts doing what he does, like throwing jabs, and I’m like, ‘What the f—?’ Like from across the fire, throwing jabs at my friends and calling people idiots.

I’m like, it’s 11:30… I’m like, I gotta go to bed before my birthday. Hopefully he will follow me to bed…

He doesn’t follow me. I go upstairs, I go to sleep. I wake up probably an hour and a half later to screaming… So I go downstairs into the basement of this house and it’s all my girlfriends crying… And I look outside and I have my aunt trying to control Zach.

And there’s a recording of all of this that can never be out. Basically Zach just – we’re all hanging around the fire, and I guess he stood up at the fire and just starts screaming at my friends, ‘You’re not going to be anything, you’re a f—ing loser.’ Just the most horrible sh-t. Out of nowhere… When Zach’s in this zone there’s no containing it.”

Fans believe that O’Malley and Bryan might’ve had an altercation, and it’s said that he took inspiration from Grace’s grandma’s death for his song “Pink Skies,” though Zach denies it and says nothing in the song came from any personal experience. Grace never come outright and said anything overly specific about him, but it’s pretty clear from how their friendship ended that Grace was not a fan of her friends boyfriend, and sadly, that took a toll on their relationship.

You know it’s bad when a man causes a friendship breakup… these two had been best friends for years, since they were kids, and on a recent episode of the Don’t Worry I’ll Ask Podcast Isaac Rochell, Grace opened up about how hard that time was for her, and it was “too real” for her to ever talk about publicly:

“One particular… I hated that, that was insane… it was the weirdest moment in time. I just never signed up for that part of things. I just want to make people laugh, and that’s what we both were interested in. People, sometimes they’ll just sit there, take it, and run with it and make it their whole thing.

This is a real friendship, and it was never something for me to talk about. It’s not for your entertainment, I show I looked at it. That’s my real life, and I get it, when it happens to to other people, I want to be the first to know about whatever juice is going on, but you’re not getting my juice. It’s too real for me to make it a thing.”

She seemingly referenced Zach several times as “yeehaw” on the podcast, and she says the only guilt she has from that time when Bri dated him was not “K-Oing” him (knocking him out), adding that she would’ve “liked to get my hands on that.”

Grace didn’t say much more, but admitted that if she does ever see him again, “it’s on as s***”:

“The only guilt I have is not… hm, how do I say this? Not K-Oing a yeehaw. I would’ve liked to get my hands on that. Oh my god, if I saw him, it’s on as s***. I shouldn’t be saying this… I’ll just leave it at that.”

I mean, I can’t say that I blame her… it seems like she’s the real collateral damage, if you will, from all of this drama.

When asked if she signed an NDA, Grace said no, and that she “never” would:

“I never would have. I never would have.”

Brianna also famously turned down a $12 million NDA in order to keep what went down in their relationship private… and she recently promised to release the aforementioned fire pit footage, so I guess we might see some of Grace’s side of all of this if Brianna actually goes through with it.

And while I don’t think either Zach or Brianna have been painted in a flattering light at all throughout this whole saga, I can’t blame Grace for feeling that way because she seemed to take some unnecessary crap from him and probably just wanted the best for her friend.

Here’s the clip of Grace talking about “yeehaw”:
