The 2025 Evolutions Festival, originally scheduled for September 5–7, has been postponed after organizers announced that the event’s venue failed to secure the necessary permits.
Alison Wonderland, Ganja White Night and EDM.com Class of 2024 artist Of The Trees were set to headline this year’s festival at the Sugar Mountain Performing Arts Center in Caneadea, New York. In a statement released to attendees, organizers said they were unable to move forward due to the permitting issue, calling the decision “disheartening.”
The statement did not provide information regarding ticket refunds. However, it’s worth noting that the FAQ section on the festival’s website states: “Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable under any circumstances, including but not limited to: Festival cancellation [and] Festival postponement or rescheduling.”
“We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding this event, and this news comes as a disappointment to us as well,” the statement reads. “The entire organizing team has been working tirelessly to bring you a memorable experience year after year, and it is incredibly disheartening to face this setback.”
No new date or venue for Evolutions has been announced at the time of this writing. Organizers said they are working to navigate the situation but did not indicate how long the delay may last or whether the event might be rescheduled at a different location or cancelled altogether.
