Is this Grealish’s level?
Despite the positivity from Agbonlahor and McCoist around Grealish’s move, talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham is more apprehensive.
He has raised he question as to whether Everton is the forward’s level and that he may not be good enough to still play at the top.
“No disrespect to Everton, but this is a huge step down for Jack Grealish,” Durham said. “At Villa, he was allowed to do what he wanted, he looked great, we all thought wow, what a player he is.
“He went to City and was asked to do something different…but he actually did it in the treble season. I can’t really understand what’s gone wrong.”
Durham added: “Man City need to get back to the top level, competing for the Champions League and winning the Premier League…and they’re thinking Jack Grealish isn’t part of that.
“I’m wondering if he is actually top level, he looked it at Aston Villa, played a big part for City but without the numbers, and overall when we look back, is Everton his level?”
