Ella Langley Sparks Dating Rumors With Former ‘Farmer Wants A Wife’ Star, John Sansone, After They Both Share Social Media Posts Shooting Together

Ella Langley is coming off a huge year, which wrapped up last week at the 2025 CMA Awards. She won three awards for her hit duet with Riley Green “You Look Like You Love Me,” including Single of the Year, Song of the Year (award goes to the songwriters) and Music Video of the Year.

And of course, ever since that song first came out, fans have been speculating about whether or not Ella and Riley were ever more than friends, though both have denied it and say they’ve always been friends.

But whether or not there was any truth to that, Ella has a new man sparking up the rumors, and that would be John Sansone, whose name you might recognize from the reality show Farmer Wants a Wife. He ended up with a woman from the show, Claire, though they both reported on Instagram earlier this summer that they had broken up (no I didn’t just know that… thanks Google). John is a sixth-generation farmer from St. Louis, Missouri, where he operates a 170-acre farm that primarily produces soy, corn, and wheat, which he learned from his grandfather. He is also a cousin of Sophia Sansone, who is on Luke Combs’ management team and previously dated Riley Green… yeah, there’s a lot of moving parts here.

He said on the show he was also in law school, so he seemingly has a law career in the works, and it’s a post he shared just yesterday that has fans talking about Ella. In the carousel, he shared a post with several different photos and videos, one of which features Ella’s dog, Crue, and you can see her in slide #7 too.

John captioned the post:

“Seein’ what sticks type post.”

Ella commented:

“Crue mannnn.”

Of course, it’s completely possible these two are just friends, but regardless of what their relationship status actually is, they’re apparently okay with setting off a firestorm of speculation because that’s the only logical outcome from a post like this. Especially considering how invested Ella’s fans are in her dating life… which is ironic because it’s publicly nonexistent. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a fanbase so obsessed with who someone may or may not be dating, when there’s been zero objective evidence that she’s ever been dating anyone.

Nevertheless, many were quick to notice that Ella was featured in this carousel, and it definitely sparked a lot dating speculation in the comments section:

“If y’all are together – I’m here for it. You’d make one hell of a beautiful couple.”

“They would be absolutely fire together. She is the most beautiful woman.”

“Peep Ella!!! I support this relationship x 100!!!! EEEKKKKK

Fans online have also noted that they’ve been “liking” each other’s posts on Instagram for a while now, and they have spotted him at a couple of her shows lately, but he wasn’t seen with her at the CMA Awards last week, though that obviously doesn’t mean he wasn’t there or with her at an after party or something.

Maybe it’s some sort of soft launch? We’ll see…

I’m sure fans will continue to do their due diligence to get to the bottom of whether or not Ella and John are an official item, and it’s clearly possible that they’re just friends, but either way, stay tuned… I’m sure this won’t be the end of the rumors and news about this potential new relationship.
