I feel like I’m having déjà vu of last year as this is a very similar list…TouchTunes listeners are at least consistent.

2025 is coming to a close, which means many recap lists or “year in review” articles are being highlighted. While we have talked a lot as a society about Spotify Wrapped, a new recap dropped…and let’s face it, this is one we all care about—the 2025 TouchTunes Year End Charts.

Each year, dive bar goers spend too much money on TouchTunes, ensuring they listen to quality music while knocking back a few cold ones. Let’s be honest, the audio streaming service is more than just a platform that lets you pay to have your favorite songs played on the modern-day jukebox; it’s also a bonding point for music lovers. No matter what genre you fancy, there is a high chance that you’ve spent some of your hard-earned cash to jump folks in line so you can hear your favorite song.

At the end of each year, TouchTunes breaks down its data into a handful of different categories this year, including which new releases from each genre were the most played, which catalog songs from each genre were the most played, and which female and male artists were selected the most, to name a few.

Last year’s data revealed that dive bar patrons were blasting a lot of male country artists, with 8 of the top 10 spots held by country stars—and that trend holds, with country stars holding 8 of the top 10 spots among most-played male artists.

The number one spot, with little surprise, goes to “I’m The Problem” singer Morgan Wallen. Wallen dominated the charts this year with his most recent LP, and earlier this year, Wallen was named the #1 most-played artist on the TouchTunes Artists chart in the third quarter of 2025 (dated July 1 to September 30). This marks his third-straight appearance at the top of the chart since its conception at the beginning of the year, which tracked the first quarter of 2025 from January to March. Unsurprisingly, the “20 Cigarettes” singer also dominated the second quarter of 2025 (dated April 1 to June 30), where he remained number one and owned a staggering 10 of the Top 50 songs played on the platform.

Not only is Wallen the top artist on the chart once again during the third quarter, he also owns another 10 of the Top 50 songs on both the TouchTunes Frontline and Catalog chart with “I’m The Problem,” (#2) “What I Want,” (#6) “I Had Some Help,” (#7) “Just In Case,” (#9) “I Got Better,” (#11) “20 Cigarettes” (#12), “Love Somebody,” (#18) “I’m a Little Crazy” (#20) all sitting in the Top 25 on the Frontline.

Now that you know this information, it should not be shocking that I’m The Problem also won TouchTunes Album of the Year.

As for the other male country artists who appeared on the top 10 list, Morgan Wallen is in good company with Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, Toby Keith, Post Malone, George Strait and Shaboozey also appearing on the top 10 list. Now, I know Shaboozey being included as a country artist might be iffy. While I don’t think he makes country music entirely, the man was nominated as CMA New Artist of the Year, so I’m counting it for all intents and purposes of this article. The two non-country artists who made the cut were Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Here’s the full Top 10:

  1. Morgan Wallen
  2. Zach Bryan
  3. Shaboozey
  4. Chris Stapleton
  5. Toby Keith
  6. Luke Combs
  7. Drake
  8. Post Malone
  9. Kendrick Lamar
  10. George Strait

As for the ladies, the country stars on the top 10 list of most-played female artists include Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson, and Jessie Murph.

Out of all the music queued up on TouchTunes this year, country music made up 24% of songs played. I’d say that being just shy of 1/4 of songs played on over 60,000 locations worldwide is pretty solid for country music.

2025 was another stellar year for the genre, and given that dive bars and country music go hand in hand, I fully expect it to dominate the TouchTunes charts again in 2026.

Fire up a little Morgan Wallen while you’re here:
