Bunnie Xo is dispelling rumors that she and Jelly Roll have not been seen in public as much lately. On a recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie, whose real name is Alyssa DeFord, addressed rumors that she and Jelly were having relationship issues, given they have not been spotted in public as much.
While their appearances might have slowed down somewhat in the summer months, fans are taking issue with Bunnie simply because it’s evident that she’s been supportive of her husband’s endeavors and busy schedule, attending his recent WWE SummerSlam appearance.
And she’s shared behind-the-scenes footage of the two enjoying some R&R together before Jelly heads back out on the road with Post Malone for the Big A** World Tour.
But, we all know that Bunnie will never let the internet run with a rumor that hurts those she loves, so she sat down in front of the microphone to share the truth about why they have not been seen together as much.
“Somebody said the other day, they’re like, ‘They used to always be together. Now you never see them together. I’m like, do you guys not know for the past six months I’ve been trying to make a baby? Like, my husband has to work to f***ing bring home the bacon.
Luckily, I have the luxury of being able to work from home. So he doesn’t. He has to make appearances. But I literally have been on IVF meds for f***ing six months and going through heartbreak and f***ing so much s***.”
Over the last year, Bunnie Xo has been very transparent with fans about her and Jelly Roll’s IVF journey. After doing back-to-back rounds of IVF, Bunnie admitted that she was thinking about taking a break given the toll it took on her body. The first round of IVF was good for Bunnie; however, she had a horrible second-round reaction to different medication her doctor put her on, which caused her to go into a medical menopause.
“So I’m doing my second round of IVF. The last cycle, we got eggs, they are frozen, whatever. But I guess to increase your chances of having a baby, you need to have as many eggs as possible, which is why women end up doing 5-10 IVF cycles. Which hats off to you, broads, because there is no way, shape, or form that I could do that.”
When Bunnie said she was thinking about letting fate take over, she got a call from her doctor with some big news. While it has not yet been revealed what that news is, Bunnie did share with followers that it’s not a pregnancy announcement. Based on what she’s shared about this journey, it sounds like any good news is worth celebrating.
“When you just got the call you’ve been waiting on for 5 months since this IVF journey started. All the tears, the hopeless & the struggle, God finally said, ‘Here.’”
Bunnie clarified that the news was not a pregnancy announcement; it was new that was a step in the right direction of them having a child. She then confirmed that she was hoping to gift a fan with a round of IVF. When she said that someone needed to bring home the bacon, she was not kidding.
On average, the cost of IVF is anywhere between $15,000 and $20,000, but it can sometimes be more expensive depending on how many rounds a woman goes through. It’s not an investment that those facing infertility take lightly, and given the cost associated with it, it makes it that much harder for women when it does not work or you have to go through multiple rounds of fertility treatment.
Bunnie Xo does not hide things from her fans, and this is a lesson to take everything you see online with a grain of salt. Bunnie Xo has a career and life outside of supporting her husband, and just because they are not seen at every event together does not mean their relationship is in trouble. Not to mention that Jelly Roll tours for a living, there are many times they takes long stints apart while he’s on the road.
