Bunnie Xo Is Baring It All In Upcoming Memoir, ‘Stripped Down: Unfiltered & Unapologetic’

A new project is loading from Bunnie Xo.

Bunnie Xo is a woman of many talents; she’s a hype woman for her husband, Jelly Roll, a podcaster and media personality, and an all-around bada**. Bunnie has captured a following outside of her marriage to the “Highway To Hell” singer Jelly Roll, showing behind-the-scenes clips of her life on the road, at home, being a mother, and trying to conceive a baby through her IVF journey.

Bunnie has lived many lives and is continually evolving as a woman. Now Bunnie Xo is opening up in a completely new light, announcing her first book, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.

“I’ve always considered myself an open book, so when it came time to pour my heart into chapters, it only felt natural to write about what I know best — my journey, my perspective and the grit that’s carried me through.

‘Stripped Down’ is the rawest reflection of who I am in every form. It felt only fitting to name my book after the way I’ve always lived life — raw, unfiltered and in my naked truth. This book is heartbreak and healing, trauma and triumph, love and betrayal — it’s the ashes I’ve risen from, stitched together with the lessons that shaped me into the woman I am today.”

She shared in an exclusive interview with People.

The official description of the memoir depicts her story as:

“Cold, clear evidence that no one is irredeemable. With a heavy dose of humor and a refreshing sense of self-awareness, Bunnie pulls no punches as she shares her journey of redemption while offering some homespun wisdom to those who need a little saving themselves.”

Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, shares stories in he book about being an “abused runaway” who battled addiction while living in a trailer park in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bunnie attributes moving into her career in the sex worker field as the path that allowed her to “reclaim her power.”

This is all part of her “rags to riches” story where Bunnie Xo meets her now husband, Jelly Roll, and turns her life around as he does the same, slowly building an empire together.

Bunnie Xo is a different woman now than the one in the first pages of this book, but she hopes that everyone can connect with, see, and understand her story more through this project. Bunnie Xo concluded her interview with People, saying:

“My deepest hope is that as you turn these pages, you’ll feel every emotion with me. And although I’ve left that lifestyle behind, I’ve stripped down one last time and bared my soul for the world to see.”

Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic is available for pre-order now and will be available for purchase on February 10, 2025.

Of course, Jelly Roll had to hype up his wife after the book announcement went live, commenting on her post:

“I am so proud of you and the work you put into the project. You were so vulnerable in this book and even shared parts of the story I thought would never be told. Proud of you, this book is going to help so many women find peace. Love you.”
