This weekend's matchup between Arsenal and Leicester City comes from clubs at opposing ends of the Premier League standings and with very different reasons why they need points.
In the last minute of extra time in a dramatic 2-2 draw at Manchester City, Mikel Arteta's team was denied the opportunity of a historic 10-man triumph. But they did get back to winning ways in the middle of the week when they defeated Bolton Wanderers 5-1 in the Carabao Cup.
Mikel Arteta was more than happy with the children on Wednesday night. The Arsenal manager started four teens who hadn't even been born when the team played its first non-competitive match at the Emirates Stadium during the EFL Cup against League One team Bolton Wanderers.
One of those, 16-year-old goalkeeper Jack Porter, made history by starting for Arsenal's men's team at the youngest age ever. Although he did not record a clean sheet on his debut, the teenager did watch fellow academy star Ethan Nwaneri score twice, and Declan Rice, Raheem Sterling, and Kai Havertz also scored.
In a different manner, however, Leicester advanced to the fourth round of the same competition by defeating League One Walsall through penalties. Since returning to the top division, the Foxes have not yet claimed a victory; their third draw of the season was a 1-1 tie with Everton last Saturday.

Trossard is back in Arteta's ranks after missing the Bolton victory since he was cup-tied, and his suspension applied to all competitions rather than just the Premier League.
Following Porter, the Bournemouth loanee may now make his Gunners debut. David Raya remains doubtful due to a muscular injury he sustained at the Etihad, while Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ben White, and Jurrien Timber are all well following recent knocks.
However, with Kieran Tierney (hamstring), Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf), Martin Odegaard (ankle), Mikel Merino (shoulder) & Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) all out for the hungry Gunners, the hosts should go back to their strongest lineup despite Paris Saint-Germain's approaching Champions League visit.

Only Patson Daka, Jannik Vestergaard, and Jakub Stolarczyk—all of whom are recovering from major ankle injuries—are watching from the treatment room, so Leicester is not too bad on the injury front.
There will definitely be changes made by the visitors since Jamie Vardy will likely be called back to the starting lineup and because Ward's outstanding performance against Walsall won't be enough to keep him in goal over Mads Hermansen.
