The singer was originally charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and facing significant time behind bars, but ultimately pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges and was sentenced to probation as well as seven days in a DUI education center.
The arrest became an instant meme, with “Leave Them Broadway Chairs Alone” flying like chairs off a rooftop bar, and even Chief’s had some fun with the situation, putting up a plaque reminding patrons not to pull the same stunt:
