A star-studded New Year’s Eve special.

This afternoon, the full lineup for Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash TV special was announced, and there are some huge country artists slated to perform.

Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman will headline the festivities, and the five-hour TV special will feature performances by Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Riley Green, Marcus King, Megan Moroney, Zach Top, Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, Stephen Wilson Jr., and Dwight Yoakam from venues and clubs across Nashville.

There will be a few other special appearances by other people, but if you’re looking for an alternative to the usual New Year’s Eve show, there should be some good stuff to watch if you’re staying in for the night.

The show will air live on Wednesday, December 31st at 8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT and 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network, and it will also stream on Paramount+.

And if you’re going to actually be in Nashville for the holiday, there will be an in person watch party at Luke Combs’ Category 10 bar, where Dwight Yoakam will be performing throughout the evening, in addition to a performance from Marcus King.

Much of the live show will take place at Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, and the event will air across multiple time zones, with the traditional countdown at midnight Eastern time. The Nashville Music Note Drop will happen on Central time.

Some of the performances will likely be pre-recorded, but if you’ll be in Music City for New Year’s Eve, there will be plenty of great live performances and a lot to see and do.

Many of the artists performing are going to hit the ground running in 2026, with Moroney in particular announcing a new album called Cloud 9 that will be released in February, and she will head out on her accompanying tour a couple months after that. Lainey has said before she will be getting married to her longtime boyfriend Duck next year, but I’m sure she’ll have some new music and likely go on tour at some point too.

Riley Green has already announced a tour and said he’s working on new music, and I’m sure Zach Top will do the same.

It’s cool to see so many great artists on the lineup for New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, and just from looking at the list, I think it’s safe to say that country music will be starting 2026 in a great spot with people like Zach, Megan, Lainey and Riley leading the way.

Not long ago, we were in a much different place, and I can’t wait to see what all of them, as well vs the many other great country artists who are making the genre so enjoyable right now, do next year. The post Zach Top, Megan Moroney, Stephen Wilson Jr., & More To Perform On ‘New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash’ first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
