A few holes in her story…

If you remember a few weeks ago, we brought you the bizarre story of a woman who had filed a lawsuit alleging that she was the biological mother of Miley Cyrus, claiming that she had been sex trafficked and had an agreement with Billy Ray Cyrus and his then-wife, Tish Cyrus, to adopt the child.

Sounds insane, right? Well it only got wilder from there.

The lawsuit was actually filed back in May in Davidson County Court here in Nashville by a woman named Jayme Lee. In the complaint, which has been obtained by Whiskey Riff, Lee claims that she gave birth to Miley, who was born on November 23, 1992, when she was only 12 years old. (She also claims that Billy Ray is not actually Miley’s father).

Lee claims that she entered into an agreement with Billy Ray to adopt the child, but that she would be allowed to choose Miley’s name and would continue to be able to see the child while serving as her nanny and piano teacher. But she claims that Billy Ray then took the child and kept her from Lee, preventing her from having a relationship with Miley.

The woman sued Billy Ray for several causes of action, including breach of contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraud, and unlawful interference with parental rights. And she was asking the court to enter an order restoring her right to have a relationship with the child, while also ordering Billy Ray to pay her damages.

In a motion filed in June, Lee asked the court to order all parties, including Miley and Billy Ray, to undergo a DNA test to prove that Lee is Miley’s biological mother. She claims that, prior to Billy Ray adopting Miley, several celebrities were approached about taking the child, including Sharon Osbourne, Hillary Clinton, Neil Patrick Harris and Julia Roberts. She then says that her grandfather drove her to Nashville, where she met Dolly Parton at the Grand Ole Opry, and it was Dolly who suggested that Billy Ray adopt the child.

Lee claims that while trying to get visitation with her child in 1992, she was “brutally attacked” and only recently remembered that she was Miley’s mother.

Things got even weirder when Lee filed a motion in November asking the court to add Dolly Parton to the lawsuit, claiming that she assisted Billy Ray in covering up his scheme to take Miley away from her biological mother. And a few days later, she sent a host of subpoenas to various high-profile celebrities, including Sharon Osbourne, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Neil Patrick Harris, Julia Roberts, Hillary Clinton and Taylor Swift. (In her subpoena to Swift, Lee requests that she provide “the scrapbook made by Jayme for Miley when she was 12 – if you have access to it”).

Lee also filed a lawsuit back in November in the federal court in her home state of Arizona against a wide range of law enforcement agencies and mental health facilities, claiming that she is Miley’s biological mother and that Miley was sex trafficked to President Donald Trump. She claims that she was unlawfully arrested and placed on an involuntary mental health hold for attempting to report her allegations to the police (at least that’s the best I can figure out from reading the complaint – as you can probably imagine, it’s a little tough to decipher).

Yeah, totally normal stuff.

As you can probably imagine, Billy Ray filed a motion to have the case dismissed, and earlier this month a judge ended up dismissing it on numerous grounds, including statute of limitations issues. (Lee was also ordered to pay over $7,000 to the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer for his legal fees).

But now, she’s speaking out publicly, outside of court, for the first time to tell her side of a story that she admits sounds crazy, but insists is true.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Lee reveals why she chose the name “Miley” for her daughter:

“I specifically picked the name Miley as soon as I realized I was pregnant because of all the miles I had traveled. I wanted a name that was one of a kind that could be linked back to me, specifically.”

There’s only one problem: That’s not Miley’s real name.

The “Flowers” singer was actually born Destiny Hope Cyrus. Her parents gave her the nickname “Smiley” as a child, which was then shortened to “Miley,” and it wasn’t until 2008 that Cyrus legally changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus, after she began using the name professionally during her time as Hannah Montana.

Lee doesn’t explain this hole in her story. And in fact, that’s not the only problem with her claims: She also says that the Kardashians once agreed to help her get a lawyer to take Billy Ray to court. She claims that the reality star family were neighbors with her grandparents – something there’s no record of.

But the woman isn’t letting those minor details get in the way of her pursuit of proving that she’s really the mother of Miley Cyrus: She says she plans on filing another lawsuit in California, and that she’ll once again pursue a DNA test to prove her sensational claims.

At the end of the day, Lee says she hopes to build a relationship with the pop singer:

“I’m not claiming any of those moments, and I’m not trying to take away anything of what her and Tish have, because I would only want for her something beautiful and good and pure.”

And she says she’s speaking out now, after only recently recalling that she’s Miley’s mother due to PTSD, to help other victims of sex trafficking:

“I never wanted to involve Miley. But she’s evidence — the evidence I have to show that I was sex trafficked and had a baby because of it…

I know a lot of people out there are going that’s a crazy story – and it is a crazy story. The truth is crazy sometimes. I didn’t choose it.”

I mean, I get that the truth is crazy, but it’s even crazier when there are so many holes in the story…The post Woman Who Claims To Be The Mother Of Miley Cyrus Reveals Why She Chose That Name…Except Miley Isn’t Actually Her Birth Name first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
