As the Adriatic sun prepares to blaze over Pag once more, Sonus Festival is tuning up for a triumphant return in 2025.

Europe’s club culture meets Croatian coastal charm at Sonus, which the festival's organizers say has the full blessing of the Croatian National Tourist Board. The weeklong celebration of electronic music will again transform the island's shimmering coastline into a techno and house music haven, drawing ravers and romantics from across the globe.

Scheduled for five days from August 17–21, this year’s lineup reads like a who’s who of the underground: Adam Beyer, Ricardo Villalobos, Deborah De Luca, Richie Hawtin and Miss Monique alongside hybrid sets like Joseph Capriati b2b Seth Troxler. Reinier Zonneveld brings his ferocious live show, while the presence of ARTBAT and DJ HEARTSTRING suggests a festival bent on both futurism and euphoria.

The music pulses through a group of storied beach clubs: Aquarius, Papaya, Kalypso and Noa Beach Club, where the music will stretch deep into sunrises. Noa, perched like a spacecraft on stilts above the sea, will unveil a one-off beach stage for 2025.

Sonus' reach extends beyond its stages, however. Attendees can plunge into boat parties, lose themselves in after-hours hedonism or explore the jagged, moonlike landscape of Pag Island. From windsurfing and quad biking to quiet cove swims, the island offers an exhilarating counterpoint to the rave.
