Riley Green is giving fans a glimpse into his home away from home, the place he calls home for most of the year, and his mode of transportation while on tour – his tour bus.

As a touring musician, having a tour bus is the ultimate dream. When many artists are getting their boots on the ground, they spend most of their time crowded in a van traveling from one city to another, sleeping in cheap motels, and hoping that they don’t pop a tire so they make it to their next gig on time. While these years are very formative as an artist, it’s never the dream. The dream is to have a tour bus.

Having a tour bus, and most importantly, a bus driver, is a game-changer for artists. It allows them to be well-rested, show up and have a place to hang out, and most importantly, gives them a true sense of home while living on the road. 49 Winchester’s Isaac Gibson once said that getting a tour bus was like “time travel,” and I believe it. Finishing a gig, go to sleep, wake up in a new city, sound check, play, repeat. It makes touring much easier for the musicians.

Riley Green recently opened the door to his humble abode on the road, giving fans a peek inside his tour bus with Hey Dude footwear. Inside Green’s tour bus, the wooden interior and green velvet couch give the bus a Western and homegrown feel. The living area of the tour bus resembles any other charter bus, but Green’s master bedroom is particularly nice.

Green has his own corridor, complete with a primary bathroom, TV, closet, and of course, a bed (where all the magic happens), fitted with green velvet sheets. Big green velvet guy, eh?

Side note: Riley Green did not say that corny “where the magic happens” line, but given it’s an MTV Cribs-style tour, with every show featuring that line, it feels acceptable here.

It appears that this bus might feature some new upgrades for Riley Green. He has struggled to figure out how to open the door to his master suite, along with noting that:

“I ain’t quite got all the lights figured out yet.”

Based on the amount of thirsty comments on his Instagram, one might assume that Riley Green has a line of women beating on the doors to get in after a show, however his sparse refrigerator suggests otherwise. He describes it as a “guy fridge” filled with protein yogurt, water, cheese, and milk, that is a lactose-intolerant fan’s worst nightmare.

All jokes aside, Riley Green’s home on wheels is a sick setup. Touring seems like a breeze when you’ve got a setup like that. It’s clean, comfortable, and allows Green to separate from others to get some peace and quiet when needed.
