Photos: Profanatica, Morpheus Descends, Tombs, Putrascension in Clifton, NJ on May 31, 2025

An evening of black metal and death metal descended upon the town of Clifton, New Jersey last weekend, as Profanatica, Morpheus Descends, Tombs, and Putrascension each took the stage at Dingbatz. The show was all in celebration for the release of Profanatica’s new EP, Wreathed in Dead Angels.

Naturally, we had the wonderfully talented Jess DeSimone head over with her camera to capture the goings on of that night. What you see below is exactly that — an account of the brutality, darkness, and power that the bands brought to the stage.

Later this month, Profanatica will head out on tour across the U.S. with Knoll and Unidad Trauma. You can find the list of dates over at the tour page to see where they’ll be headed.
