The mobster debut continues.

Yesterday, Billboard announced that Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem album, which was released last Friday, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 all-genre chart, making it the year’s biggest week for any album so far in terms of unit sales, as he earned 493,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending May 22, according to Luminate. It also easily lands the largest streaming week for any album in 2025, and he secured that stat in the very first day it was out.

And today, the numbers for the Billboard Hot 100 chart are officially out (which consists of singles, rather than the album as a whole), and Morgan has six songs from the record within the top 10, with his duet with Tate McRae “What I Want” landing a the top spot. It’s Morgan’s fourth Hot 100 chart topper and McRae’s first. Morgan previously topped the Hot 100 with another song from the record, “Love Somebody,” as well as Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” and his very first one, “Last Night.”

The other six songs in the top 10 include “Just in Case” at #2,  “I’m the Problem” at #3, “I Got Better” a #7, “Superman” at #8 in its second week on the chart (it was a previously released single), and “Love Somebody” closes it out at #10.

The Billboard Hot 100 chart encompasses all musical genres, and based on the fact that the album already debuted at #1, it’s not surprising in the least that he’s dominating here as well. In total, including previously-released singles from the album, Morgan has now charted nine top 10s from I’m the Problem… only Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department and Midnights have charted more with 10 top 10s each, and Drake’s Certified Lover Boy also generated nine.

You can bet many of these songs, and obviously the record, will be living on these charts for the foreseeable future:

With Morgan claiming the top three spots on the Hot 100, he becomes the first artist that primarily records country music to have monopolized the top three in a single week over the chart’s 66-year history. It’s all very unprecedented for a country artist, and I’m sure it will only continue to break records as the year goes on.

I’m The Problem came in at a lengthy 37-songs that includes features from fellow country artists Eric Church, Ernest and Hardy, as well as Morgan’s first major collaboration with a female artist with Canadian pop star Tate McRae on a duet called “What I Want.”

I have a lot of thoughts about it you can read HERE, but of course, this is already proving to be his biggest project yet, and somehow, he keeps managing to make it each one bigger and more successful. I personally believe it could’ve been narrowed down to a solid 14 songs, and that would’ve made it hard to argue that it wasn’t country, or at the very least, that it wasn’t good. Putting out almost 40 songs is great for boosting numbers and sales in 2025, but it’s also a great way to water down what could’ve been an otherwise really solid record.

I have had several songs on repeat, though, and I’ll leave them below in case you’re still sifting through it, or trying to find the mental capacity to do so…

“Number 3 and Number 7”

“I Got Better”

“The Dealer”
