Speaking on Gameday Breakfast with Natalie Sawyer, he said: “I’d like to defend him, but my honest, gut feeling is I am not sure if he is Premier League level. “At 22, could he develop and become a better player? Of course he could. “But to lead the line for Manchester United is another thing in itself. “Sesko is a far more accomplished player. He is way more two-footed and way more clinical. “Now, he’s 22. He is way ahead of where Rasmus Hojlund is, and Hojlund could become a great player, but I just think Manchester United as a football club are going to move forward, they can’t afford to have trialists because it was £70m bid for potential, but it’s never got there.
