‘Landman’ Casts Actress To Play The Wife Of Andy Garcia’s Cartel Boss Character For Season Two… Here’s Who It Is

Another star added to the already impressive cast of Landman’s season two.

The second act of Landman is officially underway. Paramount+ ordered a second season of the hit show back in March, and though it doesn’t come as a surprise, fans had been anxiously waiting for a confirmation before then. Especially after the first season ended with a cameo from Andy Garcia that will spin into a main character role in the second season.

Production on the second act of Taylor Sheridan’s drama series – starring Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, among others – has begun. Fans will surely be happy to hear that, since they flocked to the streaming service to watch the first season of Landman. It set a streaming record for Paramount+ last year when more than 14.9 million people tuned in during the show’s first four weeks.

Now, it’s not just the fact that the Landman saga is set to continue. It’s actually, legitimately continuing… as we speak. They could very well be filming the next viral scene right now. And it only makes sense to bring Billy Bob Thornton and the rest of the cast back to continue telling the story that has captivated fans and critics alike. It’s honestly just great to know that the show – which gave Paramount+ it’s best debut in two years – is actively in production.

Chris McCarthy, the CEO of Paramount Global, had this to say about the success of Landman’s first season and the return of the hit series:

Something that might help contribute to the success of season two? Deadline confirmed that actress Stefania Spampinato has been cast to play the wife of Andy Garcia’s Gallino. Everyone was pumped to see Garcia – who will play a cartel boss in the series – show up at the end of season one. Now we’ll get to learn more about Gallino through his wife, who is set to be played by the actress who has recently starred in Station 19, Grey’s Anatomy, Ford v. Ferrari and The Chosen Ones.
