Framework's 2025 Summertime Programming Brings Headlining Acts to Unique Cultural Settings Across LA

As one of the leading purveyors of underground electronic events in Southern California, Framework is gearing up once again for a string of summertime soirees throughout Los Angeles.

From the gritty streets of Chinatown to the grassy knolls of Exposition Park, the independent production house's summer programming will showcase a diverse range of electronic genres in unique (and in some instances historic) LA locales. 

Some of the headlining acts performing across Framework's impressive schedule include Purple Disco Machine, Chris Stussy, Hot Since 82, Flight Facilities and Sammy Virji.

Additionally, Framework is teaming up with Innervisions, as the revered imprint celebrates its 20th anniversary. As the second-only Innervisions label event in LA, the celebrations will include performances by Âme, Dixon, Jimi Jules, Julya Karma and Trikk.

Saturday, June 28: Purple Disco Machine "Paradise"

As part of a collaboration with Goldenvoice, Framework will bring the funky house sounds of Purple Disco Machine to the hallowed halls of the Shrine Expo Hall. 

A longstanding home for music fans, the Shrine will be the perfect place to catch the house-funk-disco infusion the German producer is known for. Additionally, this performance will be the latest in a string of partnerships between Purple Disco Machine and Framework, solidifying both parties' goal in producing top-tier productions.

Expect additional supporting sets from Roosevelt, The Magician and Kiinjo.

Saturday, July 19 + Sunday, July 20: Framework Presents Chris Stussy 

Due to popular demand, after selling out the first date in under an hour, Framework has added a second date as they prepare for the return of Chris Stussy.

As one of the most in-demand artists around, the Dutch DJ and producer will gift the city with a rare two-night performance at Exposition Park. 

Attendees can expect high-energy house grooves all day Saturday with additional performances by Pedro Borlado, Locklead and Rossi. On Sunday, supporting acts include Cole Terrazas, M-High, and Enzo Siragusa.

Saturday, July 26: Framework Presents Knee Deep In Sound LA Feat. Hot Since 82

Venerated UK DJ and producer Hot Since 82 will finally make his return to LA after canceling last summer's scheduled performance as part of his Knee Deep in Sound series.

The influential British house music superstar will take over Gin Ling Way in Chinatown for an open-to-close set under the neon-lit pagodas and floating red lanterns.

Saturday, Aug 9: Framework Presents Flight Facilities (DJ Set)

Australian duo Flight Facilities will bring their infectious electro beats to Chinatown on Saturday, August 9th. Known for their unique take on house music, the Aussie group will bring yet-to-be-announced special guests to this special LA performance.

Saturday, Sept 6: Framework & Goldenvoice Present Sammy Virji

Later in the summer, Framework will make their return to the Historic Sears Building in Boyle Heights, bringing along with them UK garage star Sammy Virji.

Billed as his biggest LA show to date, the show will take place at the Rio Vista Lot adjacent to the city's landmark Art Deco building. Expect Virji's signature genre-bending take on UKG and house.

Saturday, Sept 13: Framework presents Innervisions 20 Year Anniversary

Rounding up the list of Framework's immense summer 2025 series is a rare showcase of Innervisions artists for the beloved imprint's 20th anniversary. 

Marking the inaugural collaboration between Framework and Innervisions, the collection of acts will serve as an exclusive West Coast opportunity to experience one of electronic music’s most visionary collectives in a singular setting.

Held at the dock at the Historic Sears Building, the Boyle Heights locale will serve as the background to the German label's distinct soundscape.
