There are plenty of artist-themed bars to choose from when you visit lower Broadway in downtown Nashville. Whether it’s Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson or Eric Church, it seems like everybody has their own favorite artist bar on Broadway. (The right answer, though, is Eric Church’s Chiefs).
Of course a lot of these bars cater to the largely-female crowds of bachelorette parties (and let’s be honest, the men that they attract) when they come into town. Which is why it’s a little surprising that nobody’s opened a wine bar in downtown Nashville yet…until now.
Dolly Parton is one of the few artists who didn’t have her own bar in Music City yet. There was White Limozeen, a Dolly-themed bar on top of the Graduate Hotel in midtown, but that one is just Dolly-inspired and not actually owned by the Queen of Country Music.
This past week though, Dolly officially opened Dolly Wines, a wine bar located in Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway, located just across the street from Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville.
The bar features three wines from Parton’s personally curated wine brand, including a chardonnay, pinot noir and a seasonal sangria. It also features some signature cocktails like the “Country Couture” or the “Sweet On Tennessee,” as well as a weekend mimosa bar.
Dolly’s latest venture comes on the heels of the announcement of her first project in Nashville, the SongTeller Hotel. Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Commerce Street downtown, the hotel will feature 245 guest rooms and themed suites, as well as entertainment options like The Listening Lobby, Jolene’s, and Parton’s Live, which will feature songwriter sessions and ticketed shows.
The third floor of the building will include the Dolly’s Life Of Many Colors Museum, which promises an “immersive experience” for Dolly fans.
An exact opening date for the hotel hasn’t been announced yet, though it’s expecting to start welcoming visitors in spring 2026.
As with pretty much everything Dolly does, I expect the whole project to be first class, especially after her Dollywood theme park in her hometown of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee was recently named the best theme park in the United States.
Of course Dolly Wines is a little different than your six-story bars that most artists have opened in downtown Nashville, and its location in Assembly Food Hall might make it a little harder for visitors to discover. But it seems like bachelorette parties, and anyone who’s a fan of Dolly Parton, will want to make their way to Fifth & Broadway to check it out.The post Dolly Parton Opens New Wine Bar In Downtown Nashville first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
