I never would have imagined this in 2025, but Mike Judge has made me ponder something thanks to a Beavis and Butt-Head trailer for the show’s upcoming third season — how much would it cost to purchase Metallica as an entity outright. Surely, it’s more than a single bar of gold…

All that and more is featured in the trailer below, hyping up the new season of Beavis and Butt-Head on Comedy Central. The pair of do-nothing heshers have long been a staple of TV, but this iteration seems a little more hip with the kids. I’ll admit I haven’t watched any of the previous two seasons since it’s on Paramount+ and I refuse to add yet another fucking streaming service to the list, but yeah. Looks like Beavis and Butt-Head.

The new season will premiere on Comedy Central on Wednesday, September 3. This will be the show’s first season since its return to television that it won’t be exclusive to Paramount+, but you’ll still need to be able to access Comedy Central. Cord cutters like myself? You’re shit outta luck… unless you know how to sail the high seas, as it were…
