Alesso and Sentinel Channel Raw Emotion on Thunderous New Single "Freedom"

After months of teasing it on the world’s biggest stages, Alesso has finally released "Freedom," his new collaboration with Australian trio Sentinel today. The track is out now via Alesso's label BodyHi.

Alesso has included the track in his Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, and most recently, his World DJ Festival sets, proving that "Freedom" already had momentum before it ever hit streaming platforms.

"'Freedom' has been such a powerful record to play out over the last couple of months, it goes off every time," said Alesso. "I've loved collaborating with the Sentinel boys on this one, and I'm excited about what we'll create together next."

The single opens with a high-voltage surge and never lets off. Its pacing is relentless with sharp percussion, a snarling synth lead, and a vocal hook that drives the lyrics "I need freedom" throughout the song. Alesso's production is reminiscent of the aggressive energy found in tracks like "Dark," while Sentinel balances it with an upbeat drive, adding grit and keeping the arrangement tight and focused.
