The ex-Burnley and Watford boss is seen as a short-term fix, but wants assurances beyond the 2025/26 season. Meanwhile, Robert Mancini, who guided Manchester City to the Premier League in 2012, is also an option, with contact taking place between the two parties. Mancini has been out of work since leaving his role as Saudi Arabia’s manager in October 2024. And Forest are also keen on Fulham boss Marco Silva as a long-term option. However, they would face a challenge to get him out of his Cottagers contract before it expires in June 2026.
