Metallica, Korn, Judas Priest and More Named to ‘Madden NFL 26’ Soundtrack
Okay but where are the new songs? The post Metallica, Korn, Judas Priest and More Named to ‘Madden NFL 26’ Soundtrack appeared first on MetalSucks.

Another year, another iteration of a football game that people can’t help but buy every year. That’s what we’ve got with the upcoming release of Madden NFL 26 on every platform available ever on August 14. And what better reason to bring up the annual football video game than to discuss the rock and metal tracks some suits deigned worthy of making it to the game?
As one would expect, this year’s list of songs includes some really, really old (but safe) picks, but there’s a couple new tracks in there too. Of course you’ve got your “Joker And The Thief” by Wolfmother, “The Pretender” by Foo Fighters, and “Freak On A Leash” from Korn on there — all decades old songs at this point — but the fact that they included Electric Callboy’s “Elevator Operator” on there is pretty damn cool.
In total, the following list of 19 songs makes up a small chunk of the 77 total tracks on the Madden NFL 26 soundtrack. Of course, the rest is all rap and country music and other types of songs. You can check out the full list over at EA’s website.
As for the tracks you guys would likely care about, here’s the list:
- 311 – “Down”
- Beastie Boys – “Sabotage”
- Bush – “Machine Head”
- Dorothy – “MUD”
- Electric Callboy – “Elevator Operator”
- Foo Fighters – “The Pretender”
- Green Day – “Basket Case”
- Judas Priest – “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming”
- Korn – “Freak On A Leash”
- Limp Bizkit – “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)”
- Linkin Park – “The Emptiness Machine”
- Mammoth – “Don’t Back Down”
- MC5 – “Heafy Lifting” (feat. Tom Morello)
- Megadeth – “Symphony Of Destruction”
- Rage Against The Machine – “Guerilla Radio”
- Shinedown – “Dead Don’t Die”
- The Warning – “S!CK”
- Weezer – “Buddy Holly”
- Wolfmother – “Joker And The Thief”
In addition to those full tracks, snippets of the following songs will be played during games over the virtual stadium sound systems:
- Metallica – For Whom The Bell Tolls
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Give It Away
- The White Stripes – Seven Nation Army
Madden NFL 26 will be available for everyone on August 14 for EA App, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, and Amazon Luna.
