Max Styler Finds Late-Night Clarity In New EP, "Need You Tonight"

You might not have planned for a late night out, but Max Styler’s Need You Tonight EP makes a strong case for canceling tomorrow.

Out now via Patrick Topping’s Trick label, the two-track release distills Styler’s recent club-facing direction into a compact package. Both tracks have become fixtures in his recent DJ sets, most notably during his appearance at Coachella’s Do LaB stage last month.

The title track, “Need You Tonight,” with Ōsé trades in futuristic tech house textures, underpinned by a steady, industrial groove and bellowing synth stabs. It’s darker in tone and purposefully built for the peak hours.

Meanwhile, the second, “Let Go,” leans into a subtle acid edge, driven by tight synth work that cuts cleanly through the mix. It’s a controlled build with a sense of precision that speaks to the EDM.com Class of 2025 producer's growth as an artist thus far.
