Fans Blast Asking Alexandria Frontman Danny Worsnop’s DC Warped Tour Performance

There are many things that used to be better before the internet became what it is today. One of those things is how we all used to talk shit. It used to be harder for shit-talking to reach large masses quickly, but thanks to social media, we can now all jump in on the pile on. This one may be well deserved, though.

Warped Tour has officially kicked off, with its first stop being in Washington, DC. Fans who were there took to Reddit following the day’s festivities to lambaste Asking Alexandria, and how shitty they thought their set was.

The crapfest doesn’t seem to be blamed on any other member of the band BUT their vocalist Danny Worsnop, who appeared to have been dead the entire time…? There’s footage of their set, that you can watch below, and it definitely shows what’s got fans’ panties in fairly understandable bunch. Their use of backing tracks was a point of contention (particularly during set closer “The Final Episode (Let’s Change the Channel”), while others have taken it as far as to say that Worsnop should quit the band.

Worsnop appears to be nonplussed considering how he hasn’t responded to any of it, but AA’s bassist Sam Bettley took some time to address it. He didn’t say much, but at least he apologized:

Hopefully Worsnop can get it together before Warped Tour comes to Long Beach, Ca. As a resident here, I can definitely attest to our high-level abilities to talk incredible amounts of dookie.
