Ex-SeeYouSpaceCowboy Frontwoman Connie Sgarbossa Addresses Distressing Allegations

Over the weekend, an unfortunate series of texts was shared from a past partner of ex-SeeYouSpaceCowboy vocalist Connie Sgarbossa. These messages claimed some very unsettling allegations against Sgarbossa.

Following these comments, Sgarbossa has since opened up to address the claims. But before I get into that, let’s rewind a little on what the hell has been happening within the SeeYouSpaceCowboy world, because there’s been a lot.

The past five months have seen many complications within the band. In early January, Sgarbossa hinted towards leaving, following a series of unresolved issues with members repeatedly supporting people with abusive reputations.

In March, she doubled down on this and shared it’s “probably time to start a new band soon.” Since then, things have seemed to have quietened down. Up until this weekend.

In the last 48 hours, an ex-partner of Sgarbossa has shared some troublesome allegations against her. The original comments were shared from a private account and later deleted, however, some screenshots remain on Reddit.

In response to her ex’s social media outrage, Sgarbossa responded,

“I have been talking with my ex for the past couple days. There has been a lot going on and things that were taken from a private account have been spread. There were exaggerations due to the heat of the moment that were written. I will Have a statement from her and I soon.”

This entire thing seems pretty complex. Sgarbasso has gone from being a previous SeeYouSpaceCowboy member vocally addressing her discomfort with the band’s associations with people with assault allegations, to now having allegations to address herself. Not a great look.
