Evanescence’s Amy Lee, Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante, and Poppy Are Teasing Something

This is gonna be a pretty short post, since there’s not a whole lot of information to go off of at the moment, but it’s looking like three major female voices in hard rock and metal are joining forces for something.

Earlier today, Evanescence‘s Amy Lee, Spiritbox‘s Courtney LaPlante, and Poppy each posted the same image of all three of them in black dressed, looking over their right shoulder. No captions, no comments, just the image and all three accounts linked at once.

The obvious (and most likely) answer is that the trio are going to drop a song on everyone soon. Given how all three of them sound individually, I can guarantee it’s going to be a wild track. I mean, we’ve all seen and heard Poppy and Spiritbox perform “Soft Spine” together live, so that part of the equation makes sense. But Amy Lee doesn’t scream like the other two — at least not to my knowledge — so I imagine she’ll be the more melodic voice in the trio. Though let’s be real, all three of these women can sing their asses off.

Truth be told, I’m sure a major reason why some of the artists opted to keep comments closed is because there was bound to be some pieces of shit on the internet talking about how women shouldn’t be in metal or some shit like that. Of course, that’s bullshit, but this is 2025 after all.

Either way, I’m excited to find out what this is all about. We’ll post more when more details surface.
