Did you know that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughter, Audrey McGraw, has a small role in the hit TV series Landman?
Obviously, country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are household names. Everyone knows the man behind the song “Don’t Take The Girl” and the woman behind the track “This Kiss.” And on the slight chance that you don’t know them through their music, the real life couple starred as the on-screen couple James and Margaret Dutton in the Yellowstone prequel series 1883.
If you are like most people, you know them through both.
As it turns out, McGraw and his wife aren’t the only actors and actresses (and singers) in the family. There’s actually another McGraw out in the world that’s making their voice known as a singer, and it’s the daughter of the high-profile couple: 24-year-old Audrey McGraw. She’s also broke into acting in recent years, and eagle-eyed viewers might have noticed that she’s made sporadic appearances in the hit Paramount+ show Landman.
Audrey McGraw has now starred in four different episodes of the series. She plays the friendly neighbor named Shelby who is close with Michelle Randolph’s Ainsley Norris. In Season 1, she was in Episode 5 (Where is Home) and Episode 7 (All Roads Lead To a Hole).
You might remember her in the Season 1 scene where she speaks to Ainsley Norris (Michelle Randolph) as they are sunbathing by the pool. It was in that scene where Shelby invited Tommy Norris’ daughter to a “Patch Party.” Then later in the series (Episode 7 to be exact), Audrey’s character returned as someone who was at the Patch party.
In Season 2, she been featured in both Episode 3 (Almost a Home) and Episode 5 (The Pirate Dinner), with the latter being the moment that offered her the most screen time. Her and Sam Elliot, who joined the cast for Season 2 as T.L. Norris, had a conversation that dove a little deeper into his story. As for Shelby, she was seen doing what she’s normally been doing in the series so far… lounging by the pool.
Audrey McGraw’s Shelby was also featured in the actual “Pirate Party” that happens later in the episode.
Though the role has been relatively small, it marks Audrey McGraw’s first role in mainstream TV. Previously, she had starred in a 2020 short film titled Aubrey Bows, as well as another project called Broadway Performer Meets the Aldeans. And as I mentioned earlier, the 24-year-old Audrey McGraw also has a promising career as a singer, even opening for Brandi Carlile on her Lost Time Tour in Europe this summer.
But now that I’ve pointed out her involvement in Landman, I’m sure fans of the show will keep an eye out for her Shelby character. It’s likely that not many people knew the child of Tim McGraw was starring in the latest Sheridan hit. But it makes sense that there was a connection point with Taylor Sheridan, since her parents were featured in leading roles in the Yellowstone spinoff 1883.
And hey, once you’re in the Taylor Sheridan family, it’s likely that you’ll feature in another project… he likes to work with the same people. That goes for the fictional Norris family as well. I’m sure if there’s ever another “Pirate Dinner,” Shelby will once again get the invitation.
