David Guetta and Nicky Romero Team Up for New Mastering Plugin, “Faster Master”

David Guetta and Nicky Romero have joined forces with Mastering The Mix to launch a new plugin, “Faster Master.”

True to its name, the tool aims to simplify and speed up the mastering process, offering an automated way to polish tracks with minimal friction. In a post teasing the release, Romero said it was built to help producers make their demos “sound incredible in just a few clicks” without spending hours tweaking EQs and limiters.

The teaser reveals an interface that appears clean and beginner-friendly, but with enough control to give pros something to work with too. The preview shows EQ, transients, compression, stereo and limit controls all within a sleek, intuitive panel.

Mastering has long been one of the most dreaded final steps in music production, but the two dance music veterans are hoping to change that entirely. Their partnership makes sense given that Mastering The Mix is known for tools that make audio cleanup less intimidating, with user-friendly plugins like Reference, Levels and Bassroom. Their software is already a favorite in the home studios or pros and novel producers alike.
