“Community Is Everything This Time Of Year” – The Randy Rogers Family Foundation Hand Delivers Over 1,500 Hygiene Items To New Braunfels Youth

‘Tis the season to give back to others.

We are in the thick of the holiday season, and it’s always fun to shower those around you with gifts, love, and support. But this season is also a reminder to take time out of your day to give back to those less fortunate or even to do a few random acts of kindness.

At the start of the holiday season with Thanksgiving, we saw many country stars giving back to their communities, like Jelly Roll serving a meal to 300 inmates and staff members at the correctional facility he once served time at, his wife, Bunnie Xo, created care packages and bought groceries for a Thanksgiving meal for women escaping domestic violence, and Post Malone served meals to first responders at his bar in Nashville.

That same giving spirit is evident in the Christmas season, and many country music stars give back in similar ways to their communities. Recently, the Texas legend Randy Rogers collected hygiene items at an acoustic show to help the youth in New Braunfels.

Randy Rogers sent out a message to fans that he would be accepting donations at a recent acoustic show at the historic Freiheit Country Store.

“Thanks to everyone who supported the acoustic show and the nice folks at Bahnbrecker for helping us gather so many hygiene materials for the Kids Club in New Braunfels. Community is everything this time of year.”

Just a few days after the acoustic show, on December 9, Randy Rogers, his wife  Chelsea, and Randy Rogers Family Foundation Staff personally delivered the donated items to the New Braunfels Christian Ministries’ Kids Club. The Kids Club supports elementary students by partnering with local schools, volunteers, and more to expand opportunities for their futures. The programs provide children with safety, an enriching environment that supports their academic endeavors, life-skills development, and strong mentorship.

Randy added to his thoughts, sharing a photo from delivering the donations and noting exactly how many hygiene items they gave to the Kids Club.

“You guys blew me away. Because of your generosity at the Freiheit show, we delivered over 1,500 hygiene items to the Kids Club in New Braunfels yesterday.”

The total donation breakdown was: 469 toothbrushes, 323 pairs of socks, 170 tubes of toothpaste, 170 bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and various other hygiene items – in total, 1,586 items were donated.

“Randy Rogers is a wonderful partner. We are so grateful that he invited his fans to bring donations to help out our Kids Club families. Their gifts will bring smiles to kids and parents, encourage their hearts and remind them that they are loved.”

Said Jim Wesson, Chief Executive Officer, after Rogers graciously delivered the donations.

I am sure these items brought a big smile to the faces of all the children involved in the program. Randy Rogers and the Randy Rogers Family Foundation are embodying the holiday spirit, fully supporting local community members and organizations.
