The fellas in Born Of Osiris have yet to find someone to fill the void in their lineup after the departure of guitarist Lee Mickeney, but they’ve got a long-ass tour coming up. What ever are they to do?! Well, according to an Instagram post made this afternoon, they’re going to be temporarily employing the services of Kill The Lights’ guitarist Travis Montgomery.

You may recall that shortly after Mickeney left the band, they tapped Fallujah’s Scott Carstairs to fill in for a run of shows earlier this year. While that seemingly worked out for them at the time, Fallujah is likely busy with their own things and in need of Carstairs. Hence the need to find a new replacement player.

“We will have Travis Montgomery @travisktl playing guitar for us on our U.S. headline tour this fall! Come see Travis shred with us! Tix available at bornofosiris.com. And stay tuned, we are making another big announcement tomorrow!”

Now, with their most recent album Through Shadows out in the public’s hands for the last month or so, it’s the perfect time for Born of Osiris to head out on the road — enter the ‘Through Shadows USA Tour’.

From September 25 in Madison, Wisconsin to the tour’s final stop in Chicago on November 9, Born Of Osiris will share the road and the stage with The Browning, VCTMS, AXTY and Lost in Separation as their supporting artists.

You can find the full list of tour dates below so you can plan out when you’ll catch Born Of Osiris with Montgomery on guitar. As for what their “big announcement” will be, we’re going to have to catch up with them tomorrow.
