Aston Villa in talks to sign former Manchester United defender ahead of transfer deadline

Victor Lindelof is set for a medical with Aston Villa as the two parties enter advanced talks regarding a late deal. The 31-year-old defender is a free agent after his summer exit from Manchester United, where he spent eight seasons. Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings, Pau Torres and Lamare Bogarde are the current options at Villa.
