Making sure the fans are getting their money’s worth.

Sierra Ferrell is a one of a kind talent, but those who have been following her music since the beginning already know that. Outside of her angelic vocals and poetic lyrics, Ferrell is down-to-Earth despite her level of fame. After releasing her sophomore record, Trail Of Flowers, Ferrell was named a  Grammy Award-winning artist. While most artists dream of taking home one Grammy Award during their career, Ferrell walked out of this year’s Grammy Awards with four honors.

After winning the honors, Ferrell was in shock, candidly speaking, that she never thought she’d be in this position as an artist.

“It was definitely a slow build because, as a child, I never thought that I would be here. I remember watching these shows as a little kid, and I just didn’t think someone like me would fit. You know now, here I am, and it’s been a beautiful experience, and it’s been a long, hard road to be there.

But I have so much gratefulness and gratitude toward it all.”

Ferrell grew up in West Virginia and spent most of her young adulthood train-hopping and busking for money. Ferrell has also candidly spoken about her struggles with addiction. But through her struggles, Ferrell prevailed, breaking into the music industry and becoming an Appalachian sensation.

Due to her humble beginnings, she has maintained a humble demeanor throughout her career, consistently expressing gratitude for every success that has come her way. She has always been thankful for those who spend their hard-earned money on tickets and ensures that she puts on the best show possible each night she takes the stage.

During a recent show, Ferrell demonstrated her appreciation for her fans by taking her setlist to the street when chaos broke out in the venue. While performing in Davenport, Iowa, fire alarms began going off during her final song, “Fox Hunt.”

The Des Moines Register reported that Ferrell saw many concert goers walking out of the venue, following fire protocol, and without hesitation, she and her band followed suit.

She then finished up her show on 3rd Street outside of the Capitol Theatre, and even threw in a few bonus songs as a thank you to fans for supporting her amid the chaos.

She performed a few covers like “Me and Bobby McGee.” As Ferrell performs, she radiates happiness, dancing in the moonlight and encouraging her fans to join in singing along with her.

Check out some more videos from the sidewalk performance. Sierra Ferrell is beloved for many reasons, and this is one of them. There aren’t many artists who would go out of their way to finish a show like this, given that the fire alarms went off as her set was concluding, but those artists aren’t Sierra Ferrell.

She is a true songbird.
