Club-to-club talks are yet to take place, though, with the Magpies keen to seal a deal for the former Paris Saint-Germain starlet. Their hopes of signing the striker are understood to be seen as 50/50 at this stage in the transfer saga. Ekitike’s move from PSG saw the 23-year-old pen a deal through to the summer of 2029 at the Bundesliga side.
