Iowa Man Goes Viral Revealing Insane Baseball Cap Tan During National Anthem: “Cap-Tan America”

That’s a hard workin’ man.

Summer is winding down, which means folks are trying to soak up every last bit of sun they can in the next few weeks. However, for some who have spent the summer working outside, you might be ending the summer with a wicked farmer’s tan, hoping to even it out on the days you have off.

I know I have the wackiest tan in the summer from working horses, with my legs looking Casper the Friendly Ghost white, and my arms having a nice sun-kissed glow to them.

However, sometimes these tan lines are a lost cause, and you have to live with them, waiting for the sun’s power to fade once it is not as intense in the fall and winter.

A recent Iowa man is going viral for his wicked tan lines, but they are not your traditional farmer’s tan. This man took his hat off during the “Star Spangled Banner” ahead of a dirt track race. The man showed reverence for his nation, removing his ball cap during the national anthem, but his tan line was gaining more attention than the American flag.

The man’s high and tight haircut reveals a stark difference in the color of skin protected by his ball cap and what the sun cannot reach. There is even a tanned spot on the back of his head where the snapback is on a hat. I mean, it looks like he’s wearing a hat without wearing a hat.

Take a look:

@katrina.barnes3This man works hard outside. Always wears a hat.

Brooks & Dunn needed to have this man featured in their “Hard Workin’ Man” music video. This is the definition of a hard-working man. While the tan line might be a little shocking to the eye, you have to respect A) his work ethic in building up these strong tan lines and B) the fact that he’s protecting his skin and wearing his hat to shield himself from the sun where he can.

Check out some of my favorite comments left on this viral post:

“He only takes his hat off for two occasions. To sleep and to honor the national anthem.”

“Buddy works in the sun 37 hours a day.”

“Talking bout good times and tan lines.”

“Omg why would he cut his hair like that then?”

“I know he’s SERIOUS about being a man and taking care of his family. But that tan line is still funny, I’m sorry lol.”

“This guy draws a line and nobody crosses it!”

“Y’all joking, but you know this man takes care of his family and gives his wife the world as long as he doesn’t have to get dressed up or take his hat off.”

“At least he took his hat off and put his phone down to honor.”

“It’s Cap-Tan America!”

“Looks like a man that isn’t afraid to work for a living.”

“That’s a hard workin’ man.”

“Showed this to my blue-collar man who always wears a hat, and he said, ‘Leave me alone.'”

“That is the definition of a hard working blue-collar man who provides for his family with pride.”

Two users commented that this man was their dad, and it appears another member from the community, who knows this man, had nothing but good things to say about him:

“Casey is literally a living legend. That man works so hard for what he’s got and for his family. Never met a more dedicated person to him and his family’s success. We all need a Casey in our lives the way his girls have him.”

Things you love to see: comments like that.

It only feels right to fire up “Hard Workin’ Man,” so give that a spin before you go.
