“He Might Be A Little Cuckoo” – Aaron Watson Says Zach Bryan Is “Crazy” For Climbing Over Barbed Wire Fence To Fight Gavin Adcock

He’s got a point…

Over the weekend, Zach Bryan made headlines after a video went viral of him jumping over a fence to confront Gavin Adcock at Born & Raised Fest in Oklahoma. Zach was clearly riled up before taking the stage for a surprise appearance with Gabriella Rose in his home state of Oklahoma, and he was even yelling obscenities in the middle of “Madeline” about Gavin.

Way to highjack the performance…

After he left the backstage area and while he was apparently on his way home, Zach decided to stop and have words with Adcock, jumping over a barbed wire before being held back by security. It was pretty wild…

The whole thing happened right before Gavin was set to go onstage for his headlining set, but after he got off, he took to social media and left several comments explaining what happened, claiming that Zach was “absolutely wasted” when he tried to fight him:

“Had a headline show to play. Dude was absolutely wasted. Had to do what was good for the fans. Everybody knows how that woulda ended.”

And in another comment on his own post, Gavin confirms that he didn’t want to fight Zach because he didn’t want to go to jail before his own headlining set:

“Had a show to play for Oklahoma. Wasn’t going to jail over that psycho.”

And he summed it up with the caption on his own TikTok post:

“Dude needs help.”

A wild scene, to say the least.

And Texas country legend Aaron Watson has a pretty spot on reaction, uploading a pretty short video reacting to the scuffle, saying:

“Girls, if you meet a guy that’s so crazy that he’ll try to climb over a fence that has three strands of barbed wire, he might be a little cuckoo. So yeah, talking about you Zach Bryan.”

I think that sums it up quite well…

A lot of people praised Zach for “standing on business,” or “backing it up,” while simultaneously calling Gavin a coward for bailing on a fight. And while there may be a level of respect that comes with backing up your words, grow men fist fighting over what? A little sh*t talk? Good Lord… that’s little boy behavior.

Aside from how dumb I think both Gavin and Zach look for all of this, I’ll be honest, Zach scaling that layered barbed wire as easily and quickly as he did really got me. I don’t think we talked about that part enough:

Gavin did admit, though, that he did try to “stir” Zach up once he got to the fence, and clearly, it worked:

“I wasn’t even mad. Didn’t even have a single reason to fight him. After he had already left before my set, I was standing outside. He pulls up in a pickup truck outside the gate and starts giving out threats.

So I just decided to stir him up to the point where he jumped over the fence. I don’t think anybody’s scared of Zach Bryan. I’m just an adult and fighting him would have only meant going to jail, missing my set, and falling into a Zach Bryan lawsuit. And we all know he likes to manipulate people with money.”

I have a feeling this isn’t the last we’ve heard about it from either one of them…

It just makes you wonder what more might’ve went on between Zach and his ex-girlfriend and Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry, who has talked pretty openly about some of the alleged aggressive behavior she witnessed with Zach.

Don’t think we’ll be getting any sort of Zach/Gavin collab anytime soon, either…
