Denim Jacket Hand-Painted by Skrillex Hits the Market for Over $1,500

A rare piece of Skrillex history is now up for grabs, and it's far from your average merch drop.

The light-wash AllSaints denim jacket was hand-painted in 2015 by the iconic dubstep producer himself while in London, according to the seller's eBay listing. The size-medium jacket features custom artwork in red paint on the back as well as splatters across the bottom hem, and he cut the collar off.

Listed at a whopping $1,560, the piece is listed as an extremely rare "one of one" collector’s item.

The seller invokes Skrillex's past work in fashion and his drawings available online as references for authenticity, pointing to the DJ's 2013 collaboration with G-Star RAW. At the time, he designed a limited-edition pair of "Illwood" jeans for the brand, complete with hand-drawn illustrations of the same creatures that appear on the jacket.

As far as electronic music collectibles go, the jacket is one of the more personal and unique artifacts to surface from the Skrillex lore. It’s not part of an official merch drop or limited-edition brand release, but a one-of-a-kind item altered by the artist himself.

Whether it ends up in the hands of a dedicated fan or just someone with an affinity for rare streetwear, the jacket is a reminder that Skrillex’s creativity doesn’t stop at music.
