Dejan Kulusevski posts horror image showing inside his knee that is not for the faint-hearted

Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski wants to let everyone know that he’s OK and edging closer to a return to action after undergoing knee surgery. But he did it by posting a photograph of literally the inside of said knee, turning the stomachs of his followers on Instagram. Kulusevski has been out of action since May and spent some of the summer in a leg brace, before getting married, and says he could return before the end of the yearGetty Kulusevski is one of six Tottenham players currently sidelined through injury, with James Maddison, Radu Dragusin, Dominic Solanke, and Kota Takai also out of action. The 25-year-old hasn’t played since Spurs’ 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in May, when he hobbled off after just 19 minutes with soreness to his knee. Former manager Ange Postecoglou described the problem as ‘a knock’ at the time, but he ultimately had to go under the knife. Kulusevski underwent patella [kneecap] surgery later that month, which meant he missed Tottenham’s historic Europa League final victory over Manchester United. The Sweden international has been out ever since, with new manager Thomas Frank still yet to coach one of the club’s most important players on the training pitch. While he will miss the entire Champions League league phase – with Tottenham deciding not to register him in their European squad – Kulusevski gave fans some good news by revealing he hopes to return to action towards the end of the 2025.
