Gutslit Go Absolutely Berserk with Their New Single “I, Berzerker”

Of all the things you could associate with Mumbai, India, I’d bet brutal death metal is pretty low on that list. Yet here stands Gutslit, an extreme metal force comprised of five badass musicians forging their own path in the metal world.

Having already released three full-length albums, the latest of which being 2023’s Carnal, the band dropped the first new piece of music in years earlier this week with the track “I, Berzerker”. And as you’ll hear as soon as you hit play on the video below, they’re not fucking around.

This independent band features a sound that’s been sharpened to a razor’s edge, with biting guitar, thundering rhythms, and an unrelenting vocal performance. With this being the first time they’re performing as a five piece thanks to the most recent addition of guitarist Aditya Swaminathan, “I, Berzerker” features a newer, fuller angle of attack.

At this time, there’s no news of their forthcoming album. That being said, I’d keep an eye on Gutslit if you haven’t been already. These guys mean business.
