Parker McCollum Confirms Fan-Favorite, “Big Ole Fancy House,” Is Officially Releasing VERY Soon

It’s FINALLY coming.

It’s safe to say that 2025 was a pretty huge year for Parker McCollum. Beyond the fact that he dropped his self-titled, fifth studio album back in June to commercial and critical success, the Texas native also scored huge career milestones, performing at President Donald Trump’s inaugural ball in January and co-hosting Better Together Texas and raising over $8.5 million for flood relief with Miranda Lambert in August.

And as time passes, it looks like 2026 is going to be an even busier year for the “Pretty Heart” singer. In addition to announcing a sprawling, 44-show tour stretching from January to September, featuring the likes of Jake Worthington, Max McNown, Laci Kaye Booth, Gary Allan, Josh Abbott Band and many more, he would also announce that he and his wife, Hallie Ray, are expecting their second child, a boy, who’s expected this summer.

Earlier in the month, McCollum added more fuel to the fire regarding rumored new music for 2026 when he took to Instagram to share photos from his sold-out New Year’s Eve at Dickie’s Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

“Rang in the new year with a Sold Out show at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX! Ready to kick ass in 2026! New year new level! P.s. and new music coming very very soon”

Today, he turned heads by posting an Instagram reel in the studio recording the long-awaited fan-favorite track, “Big Ole Fancy House,” and sent fans into an absolute frenzy. This was thanks to the caption that simply read:

“Think it’s about time we released this one, yeah?”

In case you’re somehow not familiar with the unreleased track, it was first teased acoustically back in the spring of 2024 during a livestream. Since then, it’s been played live a handful of times, but most importantly, it’s been a song that fans have been begging for going on two years at this point.

If you recall, many speculated that “Big Ole Fancy House” was going to appear on his self-titled record last year. However, much to the chagrin of his adoring fans, it was completely left off the official release of the project. Of course, this angered fans who were all but convinced of the track’s appearance on the album. The flack got so bad, in fact, that McCollum decided to give them an acoustic version of it if they bought a digital version of Parker McCollum shortly after its release.

“To say thank you for making this album release a damn good one, “Big Ole Fancy House” is available for a limited time when you download the album on my album shop. This will be the only time to get it. Hope y’all like it.”

To add to his caption sharing the news, McCollum sat down for a video explaining his choice.

“I know a lot of you guys really wanted ‘Big Ole Fancy House’ to be on the new album. I know that because I got absolutely eviscerated on the internet for not putting it on the album. So, what I did was I recorded a very special acoustic version of the song ‘Big Ole Fancy House,’ and you can get that version of ‘Big Ole Fancy House.’ All you have to do is go to my website, go to my store, and buy the album off of parkermccollum.com.

And if you do that, you get a digital download of a very special, acoustic, very raw version of ‘Big Ole Fancy House.’ So I think all of y’all should do that, and I think you’ll be very happy if you do that. I would highly suggest it, so I hope you guys dig it. Peace!”

Well, all hope is not lost now. Shortly after uploading the Instagram reel, McCollum would discreetly take to the comment section to confirm that the song is OFFICIALLY coming next Friday, January 23rd.

“Jan 23rd just fyi”

That’s right. You didn’t misread that. After nearly two years of patiently waiting, “Big Ole Fancy House” will officially be on all streaming platforms next Friday.
