Mark your calendars.

Zach Bryan announced a couple weeks ago that his new project With Heaven On Top was on the way, though fans are going to have to wait a little than expected to hear it because the release date is set for… next year.

January 9th of 2026 to be exact. Ugh…

It was initially supposed to be an EP that would precede Zach’s final studio album with Warner, but since he reupped his contract for another 2 records with them, it’s unclear what the exact process will be. On Instagram, Zach revealed some of the tracks that will be on the next album, which has led fans to believe that With Heaven On Top will be a full length studio project:

“The songs I’m releasing are ‘River Washed Hair’ and ‘Streets Of London.’ Songs like ‘Dreams,’ ‘Madeline,’ ‘Plastic Cigarette,’ ‘Bowery,’ and ‘Rockaway’ will all be on the record. I’m working on making it special so everyone just f****** chill for a sec. ‘Runny Eggs,’ ‘Skin,’ ‘Savior Complex,’ and a s*** load more that no one’s ever heard are on it!

Just been living well and writing often. It’ll be here when it’s here! Some of us prefer to write our own records.”

Of course, he just released “Madeline,” featuring Gabriella Rose, and now, he’s just confirmed that “Bowery” is set to drop this week, featuring one of his music idols, Kings Of Leon. “Bowery” will drop this coming Friday, August 8th:

He has teased the song a few times, however this past Friday, he teased what appeared to be a studio version of the track and fans were quick to detect the signature KOL bass line, as well as an unmistakable KOL guitar riff. As a big fan of Kings Of Leon myself, I have to say, I’m pumped for the release too.

Bowery refers to a small part of New York City, Lower Manhattan to be more specific, where the iconic Bowery Ballroom is located. And since Zach spends a lot of time in new York City, this song seems to detail him meeting a girl and having quite a memorable night:

“Young man, there’s a place,
You can go, you can hide,
I know you’ll never be done or fully satisfied,
You want the world, want the girl,
And everything in between,
She was sitting next to me,
Last night at the Bowery,
Sick to her stomach as she’s sipping gin and tonic,
Telling me she’d rather be dead than sleep alone”

Get excited.
