To the window, to the wall, is “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” breaking the law?

If you’ve been to Nashville lately, you’ve probably seen the “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” food trucks set up on 2nd Avenue, just off Broadway in downtown Music City. And even if you haven’t been to Nashville, you may have seen the viral videos on TikTok, of the food vendor dancing with drunk guests while singing along to a remixed version of the Lil Jon hit “Get Low.”

The viral videos have racked up millions and millions of views on social media, and made “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” a tourist attraction in and of itself.

But as it turns out, there’s a lot more to the story – and even a lawsuit over who is the real “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog.” Luckily, we’re here to break it down for you, because this is the kind of journalism you’re not going to get from the lamestream media, folks.

The man in most of the viral videos is Bishoy Ragi, who worked for a food truck named Best City Gyro and quickly became known as the “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” guy after going viral in May of 2024. Ragi eventually created his own social media channel to share videos of himself dancing with customers while holding the corn dogs, and quickly became somewhat of a celebrity downtown.

Ragi was even invited by the Savannah Bananas to appear at their game in Nashville last year.

But according to a lawsuit filed by Ragi, he left Best City Gyro in August 2024 because according to Ragi, he wasn’t being paid the tips that he was receiving as a result of his viral fame. So instead, he opened his own food truck called – you guessed it – “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog.”

Along with his own stand, Ragi continued to operate his TikTok account under the name “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog,” where he was tagged hundreds of times as users sought out the viral sensation.

But according to the complaint, he then noticed that Best City Gyro began to call themselves “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog,” and advertise on TikTok as the “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog Man.” And he claims that the owner of Best City Gyro, Makaroes Youssef, began to harass him by filing complaints with the city, even offering to pay the owner of the property where Ragi set up his stand more money to force him to move.

Youssef and Best City Gyro also applied for a federal trademark to “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog,” in May 2025, which claimed that the phrase has been in use by them since September 2023.

But in their counter-complaint, Youssef and Best City Gyro claim that THEY are actually the ones who came up with “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog.” Youssef says that in 2023, he noticed that “Get Low” was frequently requested by customers, and he began incorporating “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” into the food truck’s branding as early as 2023 – before Ragi was even hired.

Youssef says that after the original video went viral, he then gave Ragi permission to create the “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” TikTok account – and that Ragi attended the Savannah Bananas game “on behalf of” Best City Gyros.

He says that Ragi was terminated after allegedly stealing from the company by pocketing cash payments and directing customers to send payments directly to him. And Youssef accused Ragi of infringing on his trademark for “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” by continuing to operate his own stand with the phrase.

Got all that?

Well ultimately the court granted Youssef’s motion for a temporary injunction over the summer, finding that Best City Gyro was the first “user of the “skeet skeet” mark” (that’s an actual quote from the court, by the way) and ordering Ragi to stop using the name for his own business.

Youssef eventually filed a motion for contempt against Ragi after he continued operating under the “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” name, and was awarded damages from his former employee. And ultimately, Ragi decided to voluntarily dismiss his lawsuit, ultimately relinquishing the “Skeet Skeet Corn Dog” name to Youssef and Best City Gyro.

Ragi is still on TikTok under the name Nashville Corndog, and recently commented on a TikTok about the Great Nashville Corn Dog War of 2025 to explain his side of the story:

“I’m the guy who went viral on TikTok. I used to work for a guy on 5th Ave, and now I work on 2nd Ave. When I became famous, the food truck I worked for got a lot more business, so I asked him for a raise, but he refused, so I quit. Now I have my own food truck, and that guy did a trademark with Skeet Skeet, so I can’t say or named anymore, but I still love making people happy!”

And he’s still dancing on TikTok with his corn dogs – just to different songs:
