Suicide Silence Announce Asia Tour

Less than one day after learning that their founding guitarist Chris Garza was taking a step back from Suicide Silence, the band has moved forward with announcing a tour in Asia taking place this coming February.

Set to kick off on February 13 in Shanghai, China, the tour will run for five dates across five countries, with the whole shebang coming to a close on February 19 in Tokyo, Japan. Along the way, they’ll play shows in Bangkok, Thailand; Taipei, Taiwan; and Manilla, Phillipines.

Of course, those dates will be without Garza, as previously mentioned. His absence from the band stems from the fact that he apparently wants time to relax and hit the proverbial “reset button,” as he pit it. Who knows how long he’ll need, but all indications suggest the band intends to move on without Garza in the lineup.
