Eberechi Eze to Arsenal

After sealing high-profile deals for Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi and Viktor Gyökeres, Arsenal are pressing on with plans to further upgrade their squad – and the next name in focus could be one of the Premier League’s most electric talents.

According to The Athletic, the Gunners are continuing their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and are exploring the possibility of negotiating a fee below his reported release clause. The respected outlet’s latest update confirms that Arsenal’s interest remains active and potentially advancing, with hopes of striking a deal on favourable terms.

Eze, 27, has been consistently linked with a step up following another standout season at Selhurst Park. His ability to glide past defenders, unlock packed defences and deliver decisive moments in big games, most recently in the FA Cup final, fits the mould of the kind of creative weapon Mikel Arteta wants to add to his attacking unit.

With Gyökeres expected to spearhead the forward line after a prolific campaign in Portugal, Arsenal’s focus has naturally turned to bolstering the supply line behind him. Eze offers versatility and flair, capable of operating centrally or from the left or centrally, and would give Arteta greater tactical variety in matches where ingenuity is required to break opponents down.

Leandro Trossard could leave the club in order to make way for Eze.

Crystal Palace, however, are reluctant to lose one of their top performers. Despite their resolve, Arsenal’s ongoing title ambitions – coupled with Champions League football – may prove persuasive, especially if Eze signals a desire to make the leap.

Behind the scenes, Andrea Berta is spearheading the recruitment push, aiming to deliver another statement addition. Gyökeres has added firepower; Eze would bring spark and unpredictability.
