Report: €115m Premier League winger duo want to join Arsenal, positive talks continue for both

Arsenal are in talks for deals to sign two Premier League wingers, with both players said to be keen on the move and negotiations progressing positively.

Arsenal remain focused on securing a new centre-forward, but are simultaneously pushing ahead with moves for a new left winger.

Viktor Gyokeres is set to sign for the club, and Arsenal will promptly move on to other attacking reinforcements.

On the wings, it seems Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze are the top targets, with talks continuing with Chelsea and Crystal Palace, respectively [ESPN].

Madueke, who joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in 2023, is reportedly close to a switch across London. Super-agent Ali Barat is helping facilitate the transfer, and the 23-year-old winger has already agreed to a five-year deal – believed to be on just £50,000 per week with Arsenal. A full agreement between the clubs is getting closer, with a fee of around €50million discussed.

Fresh Arsenal understand a deal would likely be sealed for £40million + around £5million in add ons. It’s believed a deal could be wrapped up by the end of the week. You can read more about the personal terms agreement here.

Despite Madueke’s natural position being on the right — currently occupied by Bukayo Saka — Mikel Arteta believes the England international can be developed into an effective left-sided option. Arsenal also explored a move for Madueke last summer, and Arteta remains a huge admirer of his talent and versatility.

Meanwhile, talks are also ongoing for Eze, with Crystal Palace standing firm on their €65million valuation. The 27-year-old is open to the move, and Fresh Arsenal recently reported that discussions between the clubs have begun. Sources indicate a positive tone in negotiations, though Arsenal may need to offload players to finance the double swoop.

The potential arrivals of both Madueke and Eze come as the Gunners near completion of a deal for long-term striker target Viktor Gyökeres. Whether Arsenal can afford all three signings remains uncertain.

Outgoings are expected, with Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior, Reiss Nelson and Leandro Trossard among those who could be moved on to raise funds. There has also been some rumours on the future of Ethan Nwaneri, though he is still expected to extend his contract at the club.

The most obvious is Trossard and Nelson, if sales can be sorted for that duo, it opens up the space for both players to arrive. Raheem Sterling has already gone back to his parent club and not been replaced. Arsenal have to power up the attack and increasing depth is another important aspect.

Nelson earns £100,000 per week and has returned from his loan spell at Fulham. Trossard is on a more modest £90,000 but is seeking improved terms if he is to remain at the club.
