Not content to stay with a galaxy far, far away, former Star Wars-based instrumental metal act Galactic Empire has been branching out into other beloved franchises. We’re talking Terminator, Batman, Back to the Future, hell… even Superman‘s getting the Galactic Empire treatment. And it’s all in favor of their forthcoming album Cinemetal.

In a bid to get people excited for their brand of covering huge, anthemic pieces of music usually saved for the silver screen, the band released the video for the track “Pirate Of The Caribbean,” which was originally written by master composer Hans Zimmer.

It’s big, it’s epic, and in a couple months, the entirety of Cinemetal will give metalheads a chance to enjoy the classics with a little added heavy metal flair.

Cinemetal will be released on October 24 via Pure Noise Records, but you can preorder your copy today. Galactic Empire will also be on tour starting this Friday, so be sure to check out the list of dates below.
