Full of Hell Guitarist Spencer Hazard Leaves Band After 16 Years
Sad to see you go, dude. The post Full of Hell Guitarist Spencer Hazard Leaves Band After 16 Years appeared first on MetalSucks.
Man, 2025 has been a year of loss in SO many ways. Without spiraling too far down the sad hole, we’ve lost countless venues and members of our favorite bands in some form or another. Now, Ocean City, MD grindcore band Full of Hell have announced that their forever guitarist Spencer Hazard, who has been in the band since their inception in 2009. Damn, man.
The band released the following statement earlier today (Wednesday, December 10):
“Hey everyone, today we announce that Spencer Hazard is no longer a member of Full of Hell. While this was a difficult decision to make, we are very thankful for the 16 years of dedication and a truly prolific amount of records together. Be sure to support @reapersgong, as well as @industrialhazard and his other solo and production projects. We appreciate the support and respect for our and his privacy regarding all of this. We are all excited and optimistic for the future, so thank you for the support after all this time.”
Drag, for real. Hazard released his own statement on the matter:
“After almost 17 I’m no longer in Full of Hell. It was decided in everyone’s best interest that we go our separate ways. I’m sad but I think it’s necessary for my personal growth. I will say without this band I wouldn’t have been able to travel all over the world and meet so many friends and hero’s. I’ve gotten to work with, play shows with or even call myself friends with so many musicians or artists that shaped who I am as a musician.
“In my time I’ve been away from the band I’ve been working on my struggles that have prevented me from aspects of being a musician. I’ve even worked on what has prevented me from being able to travel abroad and I hope with future bands I’ll be able to experience playing overseas again. THIS ALSO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY RECENT MEDICAL EPISODE SO PLEASE DO NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS.
“With that being said I’m not done with music. I’m going to put my full attention to Reaper’s Gong and bring it to its full potential and excited to get us on the road in the near future. I’ll also still be working on Industrial Hazard and working on other solo projects. I’ve also dipped my toes in production and helping with composition for other bands.
“I want to thank @factotumtx for having faith in me and letting them help out with a release that will be out in the future. Thank you for all the years of support and thank you for all the continued and future support.”
Thanks for letting us know you leaving isn’t health related, and that you’ll still be working on music. Best wishes to ya, brother. We’ll be looking out for everything else you do.
