Fear Factory Hops on the Nostalgia Train, Announces 30th Anniversary ‘Demanufacture’ Tour

Another day, another nostalgia trip hosted by an older band, as it’s now Fear Factory’s turn to cash in on the popularity of an album they put out three decades ago. I mean, it helps that said album was something as iconic as Demanufacture, but still.

This fall, Fear Factory will hit the road in celebration of their 1995 album. Many of said dates will actually take place between the already announced tour dates Fear Factory has with Cavalera. Yet in each of these headlining shows they’ve announced today, the band will play the entirety of Demanufacture.

Similarly, Cavalera will be playing the entirety of Chaos A.D. on their dates. Meanwhile, Fear Factory will play an old school set with tracks from Soul of a New Machine, Fear Is the Mindkiller, and Demanufacture. It’s all nostalgia, all the time on this tour.

The Fear Factory-only dates will run from September 12 in Flagstaff, Florida and come to a close on October 29 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Remember that we’re talking about two separate tours — one where Cavalera headlines and one where Fear Factory headlines. If you want to catch all of Demanufacture you have to get tickets to a Fear Factory headlining show. If you don’t care or want to see the Cavalera side, then you choose the other dates. EZPZ.
