Chelsea counter and Mount has a hopeful shot blocked. Havertz slips as he goes up against Saliba down the left. Mount bundles over White to prevent Arsenal from breaking forward.

Arsenal will be the happier with the way they've started, though.

The two sides are going back and forth, with Chelsea now pressuring Arsenal with a number of crosses into the box.

The Gunners deal with them all and Xhaka eventually calms the situation by nodding the ball back to Ramsdale.
